Jenny Craig always brings out temporary foods for new seasons. If some become nationally popular then they remain permanent. I love this about the company because even if you start to become bored with eating the same foods the seasonal foods help make things more interesting. This week I ordered more foods that I wouldn't normally eat to help me reach these last two pounds more quickly. Essentially I'm in all my old clothes - I even wore a pair of my size 0's yesterday!!!!! Now that's not to say they're not more snug right now than before but who cares. I'm proud of working so hard the past 11 months!
Yesterday I tried Jenny Craig's new Berry Bar. It is rolled in oats but has a crunchy texture with cranberries, raspberries, blueberries, and yogurt drizzle. It was good but I hated it if that makes any sense. It was 4g of fat, 150 cal, and 10g of sugar. It was very tasty but more like a dessert to me. I know some people prefer more sugary foods for breakfast but not me. I'm not kidding when I say I had an instant sugar rush after eating it and it didn't make me feel as full as eggs does. That's why I have yet to try the JC Cinnamon Rolls everyone keeps raving about. I know they will taste too sugary and not make me feel full. It's all about what you like but the Berry Bar wasn't for me.
