Do you drink coffee? Most of us do and it's always tricky figuring out what is OK to put in your coffee that will not affect your diet. Just recently our grocery store stopped selling Fat-free Vanilla Creamer. This is a staple in our house. I've been so irritated because both my husband and I love it. For whatever reason, JC has always suggested it be the powder version and not the actual milk kind. I'm actually going to ask this week why the milk kind is not preferred. The past week we've experimented with sugar-free (which for some reason tastes extremely sugary) and just plain fat-free. It's bizarre because fat-free vanilla is 4 tsp. while sugar-free is 1 tsp. and fat-free plain is 1 tbsp. My husband did not think that they would all have different serving sizes so he just put the same amount of sugar-free in as he would with our vanilla fat-free. BE CAREFUL. Always check serving sizes even if you assume it would be the same! When I gained a pound and a half the other day I credit it partially to this. I had drank half the cup before I thought to call and ask him if he'd checked the serving size. Luckily I've gone back to only gaining .4 pounds BUT STILL. SO FRUSTRATING! My body is whacko right now. I can't wait for things to get back to normal. Will they ever?
